Great scene in this story line, where Tara’s troubled mother is reading a magazine with Barack Obama’s photo and story on the cover. Last we see here her cousin Lafayette is trying to rescue her. Meanwhile Tara completely distraught over Egg’s death ( her boyfriend in True Blood season 2), tries to commit suicide. His biggest problem is not being able to get big. Sookie’s brother Jason Stackhouse is dealing with emotional fallout of shooting Eggs and covering it up. Also Eric has a new Estonian stripper, with lots of energy! Yes, Eric the vampire sheriff owns a strip club. Apparently the vampire Queen owes money to the IRS ( you gotta love the story line here) and has Eric selling vampire blood for her ( which is illegal). Meanwhile Eric has his own problems with the vampire magistrate and the corrupt vampire Queen. We learn that Eric did send someone to find Bill but he was not the kidnapper. Meanwhile Sookie suspecting that Eric Northman, the vampire sheriff in the area is somehow connected to Bill’s disappearance, goes to visit him. Bill manages to escape but is facing down a pack of wolves last we see him. We later learn that they are somehow connected to werewolves.
We see Bill is kidnapped by a bunch of bad guys who are feasting on his blood. Sookie Stackhouse,the psychic main character and former waitress is frantically searching for Bill Compton, her lover and a ‘good guy’ vampire. True Blood season 3 premiere opened exactly where the season 2 finale ended.

Set in a small Louisiana town this half hour HBO origional TV series literally has a cult following. It just keeps you guessing every minute and the Premiere episode of season 3 did not disappoint. There is a reason of why HBO’s, True Blood series about Vampire/Humans/Telepaths and other strange creatures story is so good.
